Meet Your New Partner in Sustainability

our story

The need for optimized commercial waste streams isn’t new. Our team realized this growing need over 60 years ago. In 1956, Impact Recycling Partner’s parent company, American Box, started helping local companies give corrugated shipping boxes a second life through a reuse program that was very much ahead of its time. As our client base grew, so did the demand for scalable zero waste initiatives.

We continued to expand our service offerings by creating landfill diversion programs for companies, both large and small. In 2017, we opened our first satellite location in Pittsburgh, PA, followed closely by the unveiling of our Dayton, OH, facility in 2019. Our aim to give corrugated boxes a second life gradually transformed into the development of zero waste programs for clients large and small. Impact Recycling Partners continues to refine our processes and develop strategic partnerships to reinforce our sustainability mission.

In just the last decade, our programs have significantly impacted the organizations we work with and the environment. We’re proud to announce the opening of our newest facility in Charlotte, NC, as we advance our efforts in commercial recycling and environmental responsibility across the country.

The Impact Difference -
More Than Waste Management

We aren't traditional waste haulers.

Our focus isn’t on putting tons into our landfill or pounds through a recycling center – it’s on creating innovative solutions to your waste needs.

We look at all materials differently.

We aim to find ways to repurpose, recycle, or convert materials – that’s why we look beyond implementing single-stream programs.

We aren't just waste consultants.

Our job doesn’t stop when we recommend a solution – we can move your materials on our trucks and process them at our facility, all with our team.

We believe zero waste means something.

Our team of certified TRUE Advisors uses the zero waste definitions established by the Green Business Certification Inc. in our audit processes.
